Billing, cancellation & refunds

1. Plans & billing
Tefluent offers a free plan and Tefluent Pro, a paid subscription billed at 19 USD per month. Pro renews automatically each month until you cancel. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never store your card details. Applicable taxes (such as GST or VAT) are added at checkout where required.
2. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel anytime, yourself, from Account → Plan in the app. No email or support request is needed.
- Cancelling stops all future renewals.
- You keep full Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for. It does not cut off immediately.
- After that date, your account simply returns to the free plan. You can resubscribe anytime.
- Changed your mind before the period ends? You can resume the subscription from the same screen.
3. Refunds
Because the full A1–B2 learning path is free to try before you upgrade, monthly Pro payments are generally non-refundable for the current period, and we do not pro-rate partial months when you cancel (you keep access until the period ends instead).
That said, we want you to be treated fairly. If you were charged in error, charged twice, or believe something went wrong, email us at hello@tefluent.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review it and issue a refund where appropriate. Refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
4. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we keep your Pro access active for a short grace period while Stripe retries the charge, and we will prompt you to update your payment method. If payment cannot be collected, the subscription is cancelled and your account returns to the free plan.
